Hainanese Delights recently opened in SM Centerpoint. About a few weeks ago, I was able to try their Hainanese chicken. They offer more than their Hainanese chicken, they also have wanton noodles, pork chops, beef brisket, appetizers, milk teas. Click here to view their menu.

While waiting for our orders, we took pictures to pass the time. It was kind of a long wait.

Delicious Delicacy – We tried their wanton noodles. It has several pieces of kutchay dumplings and fried tofu bits. The soup was good but the noodles were a bit soggy. The dumplings had a very strong after taste which I didn’t like.

Ginger, soy sauce, hot sauce. I love the condiments, especially the ginger. It was a bit sweet and gingery.

Hainanese Delights – Steamed soy chicken paired with hainanese rice. It was tender and juicy. The condiments were perfect for this type of chicken.

Hainan Fried Chicken – Deep fried chicken. Was it swimming in oil, i’m not so sure. The kids had some of this but they didn’t finish it. I guess they were expecting fried chicken with batter or flour.

Chicken Heaven – BBQ chicken. It was heavenly. It was hainanese delights, only barbequed to perfection. I love the sweet marinade, tender and juicy despite being grilled. The only problem was that it was still bloody near the bones. So much for being tender and juicy, it was raw inside.

They offer unlimited rice with every order of Hainanese Delights meal. I want to try their appetizers next.
